The main aim of the artist network is networking of people who are involved in culture and art as well as making cultural issues visible.

Every artist can join the association and thereby become a part of the artist network. Each member receives his own eMailAddress (IMAP) and a personal subdomain, so that his personal site can be reached via its proper URL. Our membership represents a very simple way to present art to a broad public on the Internet. The association assumes presentation of the artworks and provides its members with extensive assistance and personal support. thisart.net neither contains advertisements nor annoying banners. As soon as the artworks appear on the site, a one month test period starts, in the course of which it is possible to opt out free of charge. Afterwards, the actual membership begins at an annual fee of 100 Euro.

Primarily the homepage is devided into art categories, whose classification is the artist's own responsibility. For each artist, general information about the person, his/her artworks and possible exhibit dates are available. If you have questions, you can contact the respective artist directly.
